e-magazine. 10th Havana Bienal
In conjuction with 10th Havana Biennial, we are proud to deliver a brand new contemporary art publication:
e-magazine, this time devoted to all contents related with this third world international event, providing insights in the form of news, articles, artist's open studios information, whereabouts, links, image galleries and map facilities as it spreads the word behind the curatorial team of Wifredo Lam Center, wich is our core task while at the same time a huge artist's contact listing is freely offered to all readers to enhance communication among dealers, galleries, collectors, curators, artists and art related audience.
e-magazine also covers well known invited artists activities during Havana Biennial: Colombian Fernell Franco, who will exhibit in the Fototeca de Cuba, the Argentine Léon Ferrari, that will deploy his works in Casa de las Americas, from Japan Shigeo Fukuda, the Chicano Guillermo Gomez Peña, the French-Canadian Hervé Fischer, the Uruguayan Louis Camnitzer and the South African Sue Williamsom, will exhibit in the Centro de Arte Contemporáneo Wilfredo Lam (institution that organizes the Biennial), the Brazilian Paulo Brusckky will be located in the gallery Rubén Martínez Villena, and the Puerto Rican Pepón Osorio's contribution to the Biennial will be shown in a vehicle that will travel around the city.
Regarding this edition of e-magazine we have to point that there was a criteria to display and balance all collateral projects and exhibitions occuring during Havana Biennial, but at the same time we leverage on this "time-frame" to show other events and artworks, gaining visibility by bringing them into people's knowledge.
